First day of "little pioneers ski school" and the first day that Dave and I get to ski together for a couple of hours!

I hardly took any photos today!! 

Apres ski at our place with Bobbi, Matt, Otis, Van, and Flori! Blake an d Kylie are sooooo excited to have new friends!!

Saturday February 23

A cozy morning for Blake and kylie 

Greg and Ryan's first stop on their western ski vacay: the kindergarten lunch hour :) 

Kylie is doing so well! She's skiing down in her own now (not from the top of the gondola but from the top of the chairlift - family zone!  

She wants poles so badly, so we are letting her use her x country poles up the jelly bean express.

Another beautiful day at kicking horse. 

My turn to ski this morning. It was so quiet and peaceful  especially over at the "pioneer chair" where I think I was the only one going up and down L! 

Family trip up the gondola. Kylie wasn't sure what to think at first but then she got used to it.

Dave and Blake skiing down the cat track to the runs he can do. They are the two closest to us.

Wednesday February 20

Ski lessons!

Blake and kylie had another lesson today! Blake went up the gondola twice and kylie did the entire "catamount" chair run. She could barely walk when she was finished, but asked to go skiing again!

Kylie and I went to the hill a little later than Dave and Blake-just slower moving today. I was sitting on the couch with my coffee and crochet and she suddenly.got very quiet. I look up and I see her peering under the table at me and she says "it's OK mama, you go back to your coffee and don't look at me again". So of course, she's up to something (as always). I watch her lean over the counter and grab the bag of marshmallows.  I couldnt stop laughing, and I got some photos. She won the lottery :)

Kylies ski lesson from the chairlift. Blake wanted to. Follow her throughout the whole lesson to make sure she'd be OK. Melt my heart (we didn't follow her and he had a minor meltdown). 

End of the day..  We were going to go Up the gondola and tour around at the top (me and kylie-ski down for Blake and Dave ) but they didn't want to leave these two dogs!  I think they miss Holly, their pup cousin! 

So Dave and I had a beer beside the fire. A great afternoon. 

Candy bribery. The easiest walk back up the hills to the condo yet! 

Tuesday February 19

Another amazing day today. We actually made it to the hill fairly early and got a ton of skiing in. Kylie and Blake have both improved so much over the last 10 days.

Blake went to the top of the mountain on the gondola today!! I'm waiting for Dave to Send me the photo to post here!

The walk home was awful. Kylie was sooo done! 

Rice crispy treats and the penguins game. Blake was mad because I was blocking his view for a micro second. 

We hoped to all head down to the rink for a skate, but Kylie crashed at 7 (after hitting Blake, she was sent for a time out and to come out and apologize... We found her like this within minutes). Dave and Blake still went down to put on a show for some people. (no photos sadly)
